    Registered Nurse Med Surg Observation

    Description

    Provides safe efficient age specific nursing care to patients and families using the nursing process in order to assist them to attain, maintain, regain, and sustain optimal health status. Implements the nursing process by delivering effective relationship based nursing care. Demonstrates technical skills in care delivery that result in safe practice and positive care outcomes. Demonstrates clear communication and effective collaboration to optimize patient care and clinical operations. Develops self and contributes to the professional practice of nursing. Displays leadership that influences optimal clinical and operational outcomes. ACLS/PALS may be required based on clinical area standards.

    Qualifications

    Associates Degree in Nursing, ADN RN - Registered Nurse Diploma RN or ADN or MN from an accredited nursing program required. Basic Life Support Certification.

    Known as 3 Medical

    Common Diagnosis:chest pain, nausea/vomiting, confusion, fall, stroke like symptoms, UTI, weakness, dizziness etc.

    Shift: Part-Time, Nights, 2x12 Hour shifts per week

    $4K sign-on Bonus offered to RNs with 1+ years experience.

    1 year RN experience preferred.

    Education Required:

    Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from accredited program preferred.

    Minimum of Diploma/Associates Degree in nursing from accredited program.

    License Requirements:

    Registered nurse with current license to practice in the State of Ohio.

    Current BLS Provider Certification, issued by the American Heart Association, or must be obtained during Nursing Orientation.
