What You'll Be Doing

  • Operate a yard loader to safely move, load, and stockpile sand and gravel materials

  • Maintain equipment through routine inspections and basic preventative care

  • Monitor material quality and communicate issues promptly

  • Support plant operations by assisting with cleanup and general labor as needed

  • Follow all safety procedures to ensure a secure and efficient worksite

Physical Demands

  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb, and reach as part of daily equipment operation and plant activities

  • Capability to lift and carry materials or tools up to 50 pounds as needed

  • Comfort working on uneven terrain and in areas with varying ground conditions

  • Ability to maintain focus and safely operate equipment for extended periods

Conditions of Employment

  • Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug screen, and background check

Work Environment

  • Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
