What You'll Be Doing

• Perform field and plant testing of ready-mix concrete to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards
• Monitor batching, mixing, and delivery processes to verify consistency and performance
• Document and report test results accurately; communicate findings to operations and customer teams
• Troubleshoot mix performance issues and recommend adjustments to maintain quality
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, efficiency, and product excellence

• Demonstrated knowledge of concrete materials, testing procedures, and quality standards
• Ability to interpret specifications and apply sound judgment in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail with clear documentation and communication skills
• Capability to work independently and collaborate with operations, customers, and technicians
• Commitment to safety, compliance, and continuous improvement

Work Environment

• Combination of plant, laboratory, and field work in varying weather conditions which equates to you getting dirty
• Requires travel to job sites and interaction with operations and customer teams
• Typically day shift Mon – Friday with occasional irregular hours for night pours and Saturdays to meet business needs
• Physical activity including lifting, standing, and working with testing equipment
• Fast-paced environment supporting construction schedules and customer needs
