What You'll Be Doing

  • Maintenance & Repair: Perform detailed inspection, diagnostics, and repair of heavy mobile equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation.  Work on Wheel Loaders, Propane powered forklifts, Skid steers, Pickup Trucks and various other types of mobile equipment
  • Preventive Care: Complete scheduled preventive maintenance and mechanical servicing activities to minimize downtime.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify complex equipment issues and recommend/implement effective, long-term solutions.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate, real-time documentation of all work performed, including parts used and labor hours.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with team members and operators to support equipment availability and maximize site uptime.

What Are We Looking For

  • Certification: Valid Red Seal Industrial Certificate (Heavy Duty Equipment Technician or equivalent).
  • Technical Expertise: Strong mechanical aptitude with a proven ability to diagnose and repair heavy industrial equipment.
  • Safety First: A deep commitment to safety and strict adherence to all operational and environmental procedures.
  • Communication: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Tool Proficiency: Expertise with modern diagnostic software, specialized tools, and industrial maintenance processes.
  • Adaptability: Proven capability to manage a varied workload, prioritize urgent tasks, and adapt to shifting operational needs.

Conditions of Employment

  • Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination and background check.
  • Applicants must be 18 years of age or older to apply. Verification of age will be required as a condition of employment. 

Work Environment

  • This role operates primarily in heavy industrial environments.
  • Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
