THIS ROLE IS HYBRID. Requires 2 days a week in either or Walnut Creek, CA or Phoenix, AZ office.

Job Summary

The Certified Lead Salesforce Developer on the Technology Applications team will be responsible for the design and implementation of various components on the Salesforce platform for the Roadside Service department. This position will work closely with architects, product managers, business stakeholders and other engineers to declaratively develop highly available, efficient and reliable Salesforce solutions as well as retire the legacy systems.

Core Job Responsibilities

  • Liaise with the Process Engineers to analyze existing processes and workflows for the legacy Roadside Service applications

  • Provide recommendations on the best approach to bridge the gap between business needs and technical implementations

  • Provide directions to Salesforce developers and help resolve technical conflicts. This includes creating and recommending design guidelines

  • Integrating technical functionality, ensuring data accessibility, accuracy, and security

  • Perform data analysis and data mapping from the legacy application to Standard Objects and Fields in Salesforce

  • Customize the user interface and make pages dynamic using Lightning App Builder

  • Automate business processes with flows, and approval processes

  • Develop reusable Flows that are innovative and demonstrate a deep technical knowledge of the affected processes

  • Build integrations between Salesforce and other applications using Flows and integration tools like Apigee, Google Cloud (Cloud Functions, CloudRun, PubSub), Workday, Slack

  • Integrate with Salesforce Digital Engagement to setup one-way and two-way SMS communications

  • Develop batch / real-time data pipelines between Salesforce and other on-premise and SaaS applications

Knowledge & Skills

  • Hands on experience implementing Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Field Service Cloud, Experience Cloud and Financial Service Cloud

  • Adept at integrating SOAP and REST services

  • Knowledge of Object Oriented Programming

  • Well versed in collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence) and code maintenance in source control (Git preferred)

  • Admin experience with Permission Sets, Custom Objects, Custom Fields, Page Layouts, Record Types, Reports and Dashboards

  • Must have working knowledge of the Salesforce data model, integration patterns, and configuration of solutions on the Salesforce platform

  • Facilitation skills: ability to facilitate executive workshops and obtain consensus

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required

Education & Experience

  • 5+ years minimum experience working with related technology in an agile team environment

  • Must have current Platform App Builder (DEX-403) and Administrator (ADX201 / ADX211) certifications

  • Preferred Field Service (FSL201) certification

  • Big bonus: Platform Developer I/II or Application Architecture certifications

We target between minimum and midpoint of the range, and all offers are subject to a fair pay analysis - Compensation Range: Min: $127,400.00 - Mid: $182,000.00- Max: $236,600.00
