Write the next chapter of your ABB story.Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to own software solution architecture across multiple architecture categories and ensure its alignment with enterprise and data architecture standards. Each day, you will be responsible for the design and build, integrity, and quality of an Information Systems (IS) solution and associated IS services delivered to business. You will also showcase your expertise by consulting, advising, and supporting on the installation of new IS solutions/services, or changing existing IS solutions/services.
The work model for the role is hybrid.
This position will work closely with their end user for support within the Oracle EBS environment within ELIP, reporting to Operations & Shared Platform Manager.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Collaborates with customers to ascertain system specifications and business/technical requirements to create spec documents that meet their needs.
Responsible for completion of all required Change Management tasks and relevant SOX control requirements (if applicable).
Utilize industry accepted project management principles, methodologies, tools, and best practices throughout the project life cycle.
Acquire and utilizes business knowledge by taking advantage of available resources (internet, books, periodicals, classes/workshops, conferences, ) to develop and deliver business expertise solutions
Tracking deliverable and provide reporting to management as needed.
Create technical and configuration document migration documentation as per industry standards and company policies.
Design, develop, implement, maintain and unit test software applications over Oracle database, functions, and stored procedures.
Effectively communicate and work in a collaborative team environment
Develop solutions to client problems via use of methodologies and software application tools, being a subject matter expert on those solutions.
Plan and execute detailed activities related to business requirements development.Qualifications for the roleAccountable for delivering the domain solutions and for sustaining value of solution post implementation.5 years with Oracle Application Analyst with primary focus on Accounts Payables and Procurement.Minimum of 6 years of test case and test script design, development, and maintenanceExcellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills and demonstrated ability to interact with all levels of personnel and customers.Expert level knowledge of the software development lifecycle.Autonomous to analyze issues / requirements and to propose and implement workarounds / solutions.Expert knowledge on Oracle operating systems and databases.More about usABB Installation Products Division (formerly Thomas&Betts), helps manage the connection, protection and distribution of electrical power from source to socket.
