The Opportunity

This position works out of our Columbus, OH location within the CHR Corporate Human Resources division. This is a Monday - Friday, 6:00 pm - 2:30 am position.

This position is responsible for general food service work involving varied tasks including preparing food for all stations, specials and other food stations. Responsible for sanitation and food safety in designated food station. Assist Café management with food production, catering and other designated projects and events

What You'll Work On:

  • Maintain a high level of quality and integrity of food confidence with customers and provide outstanding customer service.
  • Provide outstanding customer service.
  • Train for the ability to fill in at many of the café stations.
  • Run POS transactions dinner services and late night services while maintaining stock of various front of house items
  • Operate POS system and to correctly count cash transactions.
  • Maintain stock of front of house items
  • Prep and fill Deli and Salad Bar stations as needed

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong customer service skills, customer service experience, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prepare quality food in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to follow directions and understand and follow a recipe.
  • Prior Kitchen Experience of 2-3 years, high volume would be helpful.
  • Quick learning agility with the ability to be flexible and handle several tasks at once or work at multiple stations.
  • Ability to follow recipes accurately.
  • Ability operate POS system and to correctly count cash transactions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two-year degree or some college credits is preferred
  • ServSafe Food Protection or Similar Food Safety Training Program

The base pay for this position is $14.55 – $29.15 per hour. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
