The Senior Industrial Engineer provides plant manufacturing with support in the areas of line speed calculations and reporting, material loss rates, throughput evaluation, headcount justification, capacity analysis and downtime evaluation.
As part of the Operational Excellence department, the Industrial Engineer also supports the plant with Shingo progress and certification. Veeva Specialist, Internal Agency
Job Responsibilities
The Veeva Specialist, reporting to the Agency Systems Manager, is responsible for application and business requirements analysis and management including data acquisition, system training, system documentation, defect tracking, system access, user acceptance testing, and communication to end-users in our Agency Workflow and Veeva systems.
Job Focus Areas
- Proactively work with key users and stakeholders to identify business requirements or process improvements to meet changing business needs.
- Ability to understand, define and communicate business requirements and rules in a concise, organized format.
- Ability to understand the impact of changes on the overall process.
- Ability to quickly learn new software/systems to act as a trainer and Subject Matter Expert for the Internal Agency, Marketing and Commercial Services organization.
- Ability to translate user feedback into effective systems modifications that continue to meet the needs of the business.
- Responsible to maintain effective relationships with internal and external partners such as brands, Information Technology (IT), and external vendors to acquire timely and accurate information that will be used to inform processes and workflows, while driving governance and ensuring adherence to established standards and controls.
- Collaborate with key groups including Internal Agency, Marketing, Legal, Regulatory, and Nutrition Science, and Digital Transformation Team.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Ability to objectively evaluate program results and recommend future improvements.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory and compliance related requirements and processes.
- Communicates regular status and alerts manager of barriers to successful project completion.
Qualifications
- BS / BA in Marketing, Management, Technology, or Business required and/or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years with Marketing-related systems and processes
- Overall expertise in Marketing Systems/tools
- Expertise in Collaboration and Project Management tools and reporting
- Expertise using Microsoft office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Experience in developing training materials and system documentation.
- Ability to effectively work with IT developers, external vendors and multiple business areas across the division and Abbott as a whole.
- Ability to communicate effectively and to solicit feedback
- Excellent organizational, planning and project management skills are required to be successful in this position
- Works independently to complete assigned tasks.
- Determines business objectives of assignments.

The base pay for this position is $78,000.00 – $156,000.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
