Our team in Austin, TX or Alpharetta, GA is looking for a Senior Analyst, Pricing and Contracts.  Working in support of the Medical Device US Sales Division, the Senior Analyst, Pricing and Contracts will interface with Sales, Sales Management, Sales Operations, Commercial Excellence, Pricing, Marketing, Customer Service, Finance, OEC, and Legal to apply business management principles and financial concepts that maximize the company’s performance against sales and profit goals and minimize risk.

What You’ll Do:

  • Partner with Enterprise Accounts field team to assist in the management of contracts and pricing as it relates to customers and contractual requirements.
  • Own contract creation from development to execution utilizing internal Abbott and external customer templates as well as creation of custom language.
  • Review and redline contract terms, coordinating with legal and internal stakeholders on customer redline contract edits. 
  • Provide pricing analysis for managed accounts.
  • Participates in planning calls with Enterprise Accounts field team to prepare RFP responses.
  • Execution of formal requests for proposals (RFP)s/(RFI)s.
  • Work within guidelines for contract approvals, pricing approvals, and contract creation. Seeking approvals when outside of established guidelines.
  • Understand contractual obligations and subsequent impacts on various contracting processes and products. 
  • Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to arrive at a viable solution when challenged with complex situations and customer requests. 
  • Assists with training of fellow employees and participate in special projects.
  • Possess a sense of urgency and ability to work under customer driven deadlines.  This includes the ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment and with diverse workstyles.
  • Negotiate contractual terms with internal and external customers. 

Education and Experience You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of experience in business, contract analysis and implementation preferred. 
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills with attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, remain organized and work under general supervision.
  • Proficient in the use of Word and PowerPoint and have advanced skills in Excel.
  • Strong analytical, strategic and problem-solving skills required.
  • Demonstrated ability to work seamlessly with remote sites & business partners including building relationship with sales personnel to be highly effective.

The base pay for this position is $72,700.00 – $145,300.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
