Parking Supervisor – Overnight Operations

Position Summary:

ABM is seeking a Parking Supervisor to lead our overnight operations team at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport. This leadership role combines operational oversight, team management, and hands-on problem-solving to ensure seamless parking and valet services during high-volume overnight hours. Position Details

Location: 5041 Northwest Drive, St. Paul, MN 55111 (MSP Airport)
Schedule: 3rd Shift, Full-Time | 10:30 PM – 6:30 AM

Employment Type: Non-Union Position

Travel: Company truck provided for facility rounds
 

Compensation: $27.00/hour includes shift differential 

The pay listed is the salary range for this position. Any specific offer will vary based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

What You'll Do

As our Parking Supervisor, you'll be the operational cornerstone of our overnight services, ensuring that company standards and contractual obligations are consistently met while maintaining budgetary targets for labor and expenses.

Leadership & Team Management

  • Supervise and mentor a team of 5-7 parking and valet attendants throughout the overnight shift
  • Train new staff and provide ongoing development for existing team members on proper procedures, equipment operation, safety practices, and compliance regulations
  • Apply sound personnel management principles to address and resolve staff concerns effectively
  • Foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, and customer service excellence

Operational Excellence

  • Conduct comprehensive facility rounds using company trucks to monitor all parking areas and valet stations
  • Perform nightly quality control inspections and complete detailed shift reports
  • Execute ramp counts and valet ticket inventory management to ensure accurate tracking
  • Troubleshoot and repair parking equipment and gears as needed to minimize service disruptions
  • Maintain contract specifications and ensure consistent service quality for both clients and company standards

Customer Relations & Problem Resolution

  • Handle customer complaints with professionalism and urgency, resolving issues to ensure satisfaction
  • Address payment disputes and processing errors with accuracy and diplomacy
  • Replenish tickets and ensure all customer-facing materials are readily available

Safety & Compliance

  • Conduct regular safety audits and assist Branch Safety Coordinators with safety program implementation
  • Ensure full compliance with State and Federal guidelines, airport security requirements, and company policies
  • Maintain all certifications required for airport SIDA badge and Customs Seal access
 

What You Bring

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience leading a team
  • Valid Driver's License in good standing
  • Ability to obtain and maintain airport SIDA badge and Customs Seal
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and Word)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to work independently during overnight hours with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in parking or valet operations management
  • Familiarity with airport operations and security protocols
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude for equipment troubleshooting
