JOB DESCRIPTION:

Certified Nursing Assistants are responsible for many patients care tasks to ensure that each patient receives the comprehensive and personalized care they need.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist residents with day-to-day tasks
Work alongside our nurse educator and our nursing staff
Assisting patients with mobility needs, transferring them from wheelchair to bed
Preparing each resident’s room with necessary items like blankets, pillows, medical equipment and bathroom needs

REQUIREMENTS:

Current and valid NYS Certified Nursing Assistant
Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to follow written and verbal instructions
Basic computer knowledge, PCC e-MAR experience preferred
Physical endurance for frequent activity; ability to lift a minimum of 20 pounds
Minimum 18 years of age
