Providence, RI: We have an exciting new position for an OUTPATIENT PHYSIATRIST to join a growing Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation team seeing the patients of two major medical centers in this desirable capital city 45 minutes south of Boston. You will see, evaluate and follow up with patients to (in part) assess for potential placement in an inpatient acute rehabilitation center. This group uses a team-based approach, collaborating with specialists including Hospitalists and fellow Physiatrists, Therapists, Advanced Practice Providers, Nurses and more.The employer is a large multi-specialty system with Ivy League affiliations. In addition to providing direct patient care you will have excellent options to participate in research and (with a potential academic appointment) to teach residents and medical students.
