Requirements of the Physical Therapist (PT)
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
Current license as a Registered Physical Therapist in the State of Florida
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Current CPR certification
Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening
Responsibilities of the Physical Therapist (PT)
Improves the QOL of each patient with functional, attainable goals
Work with the patient and family to ensure a safe transition from inpatient care to their home
Actively work with members of multifaceted care team
Directs and supervises personnel as required.
Collects a valid history relative to the care of the patient
Performs skilled care under the scope of practice
Consults with physicians regarding change in treatment.
Assists physician with evaluating, strength, gait and level of function.
Completes and submits OASIS assessments, evaluations, reassessments, transfers, resumptions of care, discharges and significant change in condition in accordance with defined time frames.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, PRN
Pay: $85,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
