We are actively hiring a Process Engineer to join our Engineering Services and Solutions Division working in Annapolis Junction, MD. You will join a cutting-edge mission performing systems assessments. Position is fully budgeted. RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop a system engineering assessment.
Evaluate system architecture to determine configuration, interfaces, security posture, mission risks, and estimated cost to support individual systems. Analysis shall be performed on known systems and any systems identified during discovery. Following system discovery, the contractor shall provide recommendations to understand gaps and challenges in the systems and tradecraft and potential consolidation/design considerations for future operations to be more efficient.
Conduct analysis to determine ROI and estimated cost to operate all systems; perform system engineering analysis to understand architecture, and data flows. Analyze perceived risks, functionality, and detailed impact and value reports to inform decision making, showcase performance, and provide actional insight. Review system functions and make recommendations for consolidation of services, to include forecasted savings; Will provide report following discovery.
REQUIREMENTS
Technical Bachelors degree and 10 years of relevant systems or software engineering experience; within the past 10 years of experience, 2 years must be in performing demonstrated process improvement (including the application of Lean Six Sigma methodologies). 5 years of additional process improvement experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
Candidates must possess a current TS/SCI security clearance w/Polygraph.
