Adult Medical/Surgical Progressive and Critical Care, 6 HV, Cardiovascular Surgical Stepdown is a 32 bed unit located in the Heart and Vascular Hospital. The 6 HV stepdown unit specializes in the care of the cardiac and vascular surgical patient, the structural heart patient, cardiac medical patient, and patients requiring the titration of inotropes and vasopressors while meeting the quality metrics that support Magnet designation. Ratio is 1 to 4.
