Demonstrate skills in medical procedures, such as trach care (suctioning, changes, monitoring, etc.) and ventilator monitoring
Assist and monitor meal preparation and feedings, including tube feedings
Monitor the environment for the safety and wellness of the patients
Able to recognize and respond appropriately to medical emergencies
Maintain patient confidentiality as specified in HIPAA guidelines
Assist with the day-to-day maintenance of the center, including maintaining equipment and supplies, paperwork, and infection control
Promote a positive environment for the development of children through a positive and caring attitude
Current Florida EMT Licensure (minimum 6 months experience).
CPR and BLS
At least 1 year of pediatrics experience (preferred) but willing to train as an EMT intern.
