The Dental Laboratory Technician is responsible for supporting the laboratory operations through a variety of tasks, including digital design and fabrication of high-quality dental prosthetics and devices. This role is essential in providing accurate and timely results in close collaboration with dentists and surgeons to improve patients oral health and aesthetics. Role and Responsibilities: - Manage and operate the equipment and tools used in the fabrication process
- Usage of CAD/CAM and conventional technologies to design dental prosthetics and devices
- Perform digital scans of dental impressions utilizing a 3D scanner
- Carefully review and interpret dental prescriptions provided by dentists or other dental professionals
- Ensure the accurate and timely manufacture of dental prosthetics and devices
- Perform general support work in the laboratory as needed
- Manage supply inventories, perform routine equipment maintenance and facilitate repairs
- Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards
Qualifications: - Familiarity with computer operating systems and ability to learn new software
- Mechanical aptitude of laboratory techniques and procedures to fabricate dental restorations
- Artistic visualization skills
- Good manual dexterity
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability and desire to work as part of a fast-paced team and exceed customer expectations
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Ability to work a flexible work schedule
