Description: Performs welding processes on aluminum and steel parts and assemblies to required tolerances using welding metals and metal alloys.
Determines layouts and welds parts and assemblies according to engineering drawings and specifications. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
Fast-paced, production tube welding. Ability to tig weld tubes of different alloys (aluminum, titanium, stainless steel, Inconel, copper) Aluminum down to .032” thickness and titanium down to .028” thickness. Able to perform chamber welding, turn table manual, and orbital welding. The individual will have to pass tests plates to become certified to weld.
Individual must be able to communicate issues immediately, work well with others, ask for help, but also be able to keep up with the high rate of production we perform. Skills:
5+ YEARS Experience Welder Certification Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to read blueprints
Knowledge of metallurgy
Knowledge of various welding techniques.
Knowledge of manual and mechanical welding techniques
