Job Title: Information Technology (IT) Technician Duties: * Perform maintenance configurations, installations, upgrades, testing and troubleshooting of all IT software and hardware network infrastructure equipment for approximately 1300 pieces to include but not limited to the following: computers, monitors, laptop/notebooks, printers, scanners and VOIP phones. Provide status reports on all system and network status. All IT inventory is listed in Attachment 4.
* Provide IT support services to approximately 100 organizational end-users to 801 RHTS's portion of the base network.
* Manage security patches to ensure proper installation on all necessary resources, report security incidents, and execute corrective security procedures.
* Survey system and conduct testing of network systems to ensure operability and compatibility with system configurations and existing standards, identify potential problems which could lead to loss or serious interruption of service.
* Evaluate state of the art equipment, software, and make recommendations for upgrades and enhancements.
