*Schedule:* Full Time Days
*Shift*: 8am-5pm, no call
*Location: *501 Redmond Road, Rome, GA 30165
The role you’ll contribute:
* Performs all types of radiographic and cat scan procedures on in-patients and outpatients.
* Maintains competency in radiology and cat scan procedures performed on in-patients, outpatients, as well as emergency and operating room patients.
* Operates all radiographic diagnostic equipment including c-arm equipment.
* Performs routine diagnostic and portable exams when needed.
* Operates all cat scan equipment Transports patients, processes film, and prepares radiographic rooms with supplies and medications as needed.
* Reviews orders and reviews films for correct identification before submitting for a radiologists interpretation.
* Assists with clerical duties as needed. Participates in radiology and cat scan QI or Quality Improvement program
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
* Certification from an accredited school or program in radiologic technology.
* Successful graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology at a minimum.
* National certification by the ARRT
* A minimum of 12 hours of in-service or continuing education per year as well as any additional any hours needed to develop the core objectives and goals listed in this job description
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.12 - $42.18 per hour
