Job Description: Manages and maintains the organization's social media platforms, creating and scheduling posts, responding to comments, and monitoring engagement. Monitors social media trends and responds to comments and inquiries. Collaborates with the OCM team to plan content calendars and schedules for different channels and campaigns. Ensures all designs comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, particularly in regulated industries. Coordinates to incorporate search engine optimization (SEO) strategies to improve the visibility and ranking of online content. Reviews and edits content for accuracy, grammar, spelling, and consistency in style. Creates or coordinates the creation of visual content, including images, graphics, infographics, and videos to complement written content. Shares and distributes content through appropriate channels, including the organization's website, social media, email newsletters, and press releases. Monitors and analyzes content performance using metrics like engagement, reach, and conversions. Adjusts content strategies based on data. Tailors content for different platforms, considering the unique requirements of each (e.g., character limits on Twitter, formatting for Instagram). Works closely with graphic designers, video producers, and other team members to create multimedia content. Shares best practices, insights, and content guidelines with the broader organization to ensure consistent messaging. Typically reports to the Senior OCM Analyst/Consultant or OCM Communications Manager.
