Engineering Drawings CheckerResponsibilities* Review existing and new drawings and designs to verify they meet current AIST, CMAA & AISI standards* Review calculations to determine that the calculations match the detailed part* Verify that designed and detailed parts match the fit, finish and dimensions complete* Verify assembly drawings and bill of materials are complete and accurate* Determine if detailed design is functional and can be fabricated without difficultyEducation/Experience* 15+ years experience in Mechanical Design, weldment design or crane design* Good design and detailing skills* Proficient in reading all types of drawings* Extensive experience in fits, tolerances and Autodesk software (AutoCAD & Inventor a must)* CMAA or AIST knowledge a plus
