As an HR Benefits Specialist, you’ll be responsible for administering day to day operations of the group benefits plans in compliance with federal, state and local regulations and established policies and contracts. You'll also be involved in administering the company safety and worker's compensation program while helping make us a positive, safe and functional workplace.

Qualifications:
  • A heart to serve patients and families and a passion for providing the best possible care
  • Education: Associates Degree or additional equivalent experience in Human Resources benefits administration. Bachelors degree in Human Resources, business or related field preferred.
  • Experience: Five years experience in benefits administration for health and retirement programs for mid-size employer. Experience with self-funded health insurance is a plus. Recent experience with benefits and HR information systems is required, including setting up and maintaining file feeds to carriers. Experience working with brokers to proactively manage benefits programs is required. Recent experience administering worker's compensation claims. Knowledge of UKG HRIS preferred. Requires interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with new candidate hires. Ability to demonstrate problem-solving skills, organizational skills and attention to detail. Must have strong verbal and written communication skills. Computer literate, with experience in the operation of office equipment.
  • Required: Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and proof of auto insurance
