Position Overview

AIMS Companies is seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Outside Sales Representative to expand our presence throughout the Denver, CO market. In this role, you will develop strategic partnerships with general contractors, project owners, municipalities, industrial clients, and subcontractors while identifying and securing new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Relationship Management

  • Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with general contractors, owners, subcontractors, municipalities, and key industry stakeholders.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and representative of AIMS Companies within the Denver market.

Business Development

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across construction, industrial, environmental, municipal, and infrastructure sectors.
  • Expand awareness and utilization of AIMS Companies' service lines throughout the region.

Market Intelligence

  • Track upcoming bids, RFQs, and RFPs in both public and private sectors.
  • Gather market intelligence regarding competitors, pricing trends, upcoming projects, and customer needs.

Bid & Proposal Support

  • Collaborate closely with branch managers and operations teams to develop accurate, competitive, and timely proposals.
  • Support bid strategy development and customer engagement throughout the sales cycle.

Networking & Industry Presence

  • Represent AIMS Companies at industry events, trade shows, networking functions, and association meetings.
  • Develop long-term relationships that generate sustainable revenue growth and repeat business.

Reporting & Sales Strategy

  • Maintain accurate sales activity and pipeline updates within CRM systems.
  • Provide regular reporting to the Vice President of Sales West Business Unit regarding market activity, opportunities, and sales performance.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of outside sales, business development, or client relationship management experience.
  • Experience within construction, industrial services, environmental services, infrastructure, or related industries preferred.
  • Strong understanding of the construction bid process, including RFQs, RFPs, and project lifecycle management.
  • Existing network within the Denver or Colorado construction market is highly preferred.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams.
  • Proficiency with CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and sales tools.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout the region as needed.
