We are hiring a Street Sweeping Crew member (2nd Shift) in El Paso, TX. The Street Sweeping Crew Member is responsible for maintaining clean and debris-free streets, parking lots, and public areas. This role operates street sweeping equipment and performs manual cleaning tasks to ensure safe, sanitary, and visually appealing environments for the community.

Starting Pay $18+/hr (Compensation is commensurate with experience)

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate street sweeping vehicles and related equipment safely and efficiently
  • Remove debris, litter, leaves, dirt, and other materials from streets and public areas
  • Perform routine inspection and basic maintenance of sweeping equipment
  • Follow assigned routes and schedules
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations
  • Assist with traffic control when necessary
  • Report hazards, damaged property, or unsafe conditions to supervisors
  • Maintain accurate service logs and daily reports
  • Work effectively as part of a team
  • Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
  • Valid driver s license
  • Ability to operate heavy equipment (experience preferred)
  • Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, and operating heavy equipment

Work Environment

  • Outdoor work environment
  • Exposure to dust, noise, traffic, and moving machinery
  • Early morning, evening, or weekend shifts may be required
