Field Installation Analyst

The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is looking for a TERM Prevention Analyst, (GS-0101-12) to serve in the 17th Training Wing (TRW), Office of the Installation Commander - Installation Integrated Resilience Office (CDV), Goodfellow Air Force Base (AFB), San Angelo, Texas. Comprehensive and professional knowledge of laws, regulations, and policies as well as behavioral, social science and/or public health practices principles and theories relating to the prevention of violence and promotion of helping-seeking and resilience. In-depth knowledge of DAF culture, military family dynamics, related professional fields, and a thorough knowledge of the DAF community and the unique challenges that DAF families face; Skill and ability to provide professional advisory services, develop and utilize appropriate data collection techniques and design, build, and use models and simulation techniques for prevention. Ability to identify individual and community risk and protective factors in order to determine needed primary prevention activities to meet the needs of the base populace.
