Responsibilities * Conduct annual risk assessment of facility, operations, and vital records in accordance with Interagency Security Committee (ISC) and Federal Protective Services (FPS) guidelines.
* Participates in Federal Protective Services (FPS) risk assessments, escorting inspectors and responding to inquiries.
* Manage Archibus key management account: train staff on use of key module; support section in responding to key requests and provide key reports for staff.
* Assist with the development of effective countermeasures to include analysis of effectiveness and sustainability, and cost-benefit analysis.
* Develops and implements security procedures and policies in coordination with government agencies and management personnel and clearance documentation.
* Collect, review and respond to guest feedback cards at least weekly.
* Review, update and manage section Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
* Manage lost and found program in accordance with pertinent SOP.
* Review and update section webpages to ensure synchronization with current protocols.
* Investigates, prepares, and submits incident reports as required.
* Participates in the development of security education programs.
* Provides technical and physical support for high security areas, security equipment, and security systems.
* Investigates security violations and recommends corrective actions.
* Participates in the update and maintenance of physical access control system (PACS). * Maintains liaison with outside agencies.
* Maintain the development of, review/revise and update Physical Security Plans (PSP).
* Performs work under minimal supervision.
* Handles complex issues and problems and refers only the most complex issues to higher-level staff. Qualifications * Bachelor's degree and/or 5 - 7 years of equivalent work experience.
* Preferred knowledge of C-Cure 9000 and Victor Security Systems.
* Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management.
* Strong operational skills that include the ability to develop and implement strategies and action plans to achieve desired objectives.
