Position Overview:                 

Provides analysis and project management in the absence management arena, including disability, FMLA, PFML, and coordination with other leave types and benefit programs.  This position is in our Boston office but can be remote.


Position Responsibilities:     

You will work closely with team members in the following areas:

  • Support internal and external client and prospect inquiries
  • Organize initial discovery calls and assist with resulting proposal development
  • Develop tools and templates to support disability, FMLA, PFML, leave, ADA and return to work team efforts
  • Collect and organize data; conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis
  • Manage projects preparing project plans, budgets, meeting minutes and monitoring activities
  • Preparing deliverables and providing support for client meetings
  • New business and proposal support
  • Assisting with special projects and contributing as required

Candidate Qualifications:      

The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of employee benefits experience, including disability, FMLA, PFML or other leave type exposure. Key characteristics include:

 

  • Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proven data analysis and technical writing skills
  • Familiarity with and interest in the absence management field
  • Ability to learn quickly and work independently with minimal guidance
  • Takes ownership and is proactive in learning and delivering quality work
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks with strong prioritization skills
  • Communicates confidently in a clear, concise, and articulate manner
  • High level of responsiveness and dependability
  • Flexibility to adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
