This is an overnight role and can be either part time or full time. Full time will be from 8:00pm to 4:30am and the Part time role can either be 8:00pm to 12:00am or 9:00pm to 1:00am

Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in a related field preferred.
- Experience in a healthcare or laboratory environment, particularly in specimen handling or client services.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately verify and document patient and specimen information.
- Proficiency in using laboratory information systems (LIS) or similar data management software.
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with clients, healthcare providers, and team members.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in medical laboratory assisting or related accreditation.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality standards.
- Experience working in a high-volume clinical laboratory setting.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and laboratory testing procedures.

Responsibilities:
- Receive and log incoming patient specimens, verifying accuracy of accompanying documentation and patient information.
- Coordinate with clients and healthcare providers to resolve discrepancies or incomplete information related to specimen submissions.
- Maintain detailed records of specimen accessioning activities, ensuring compliance with laboratory and regulatory standards.
- Communicate effectively with internal laboratory teams to prioritize specimen processing and address any client concerns.
