The Medical Assistant Endoscopy Technician
Under the direction of the Practice Administrator/ Senior Endo technician, and working with assigned Physicians,
- The Medical Assistant / Endo technician is part of the medical team that cares for patients undergoing endoscopy procedures to diagnose or treat gastrointestinal problems.
- The Medical Assistant / Endo Technician cares for patients post procedure and post conscious sedation anesthesia.
The Medical Assistant Endoscopy Technician must have the following qualifications and experience:
- High School Diploma,
- Licensing/Registration/Certification Required: Certification: Medical Assistant
- One year of clinical experience preferred
- Must be able to perform Phlebotomy.
