Director, Commercial Insurance Account Management serves a critical role in delivering and effectuating account service delivery and overall account management for all financial institution insurance programs including all new business, renewal and endorsements delivery This position will oversee a team that will work closely with CEO’s, CFO’s, sales producers & underwriters to understand the needs of our clients. Analyze the client’s insurance exposure to obtain a competitive quote. Provides knowledgeable guidance & recommendations relative to lines of coverage to Account Executives and sales producers. This position will serve as a leader of the department responsible for effectuating communication and activity between Client, Sales, Risk Management Operations, Product, Underwriting and Pricing, ETG, and vendor product solutions and services.NOTE: This is an IN OFFICE role located at our Carmel, IN or South Bend, IN offices.Client Retention (20%)•    Set parameters for touch-points from the insurance agreement, based on the client’s need. This is in collaboration with Bond team leadership for upcoming 1 & 3 year renewals, with the expectation that this increases client retention and increase revenue and product growth. •    Responsible for the creation and delivery of account management communication including but not limited to:  Action Plans, Performance Service Summaries, profitability performance measures of premium vs. losses. Team Management (50%)•    Mastery level of management to mentor a team of Administrative Assistants, Account Managers, and Account Executives.•    Formulate and articulate a clear vision and strategy for the team that aligns with Allied's overall objectives and goals.•    Conduct regular performance evaluations, set individual and team goals and facilitate professional development opportunities.•    Foster a collaborative and positive work environment that encourages innovation and high performance.•    Attends and actively participates in the operational and case management meetings to effectively manage business process planning and obtain quality assurance information  •    Handles all aspects of managing direct reports, including hiring, firing, promotion evaluations, and rewards decisions.•    Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture focused on continuous learning and improvement•    Develop and implement comprehensive training plans for employees, fostering continuous professional growth and skill enhancement.Directs Resources, Tools and Technology (20%) •    Directs the onboarding, production, and service team for new and existing accounts.•    Coordinates service beginning to end including needed client training, assisting with the technical aspects of the risk management product install and execution, operational performance and issue, and problem resolution to ensure efficient and effective product performance, client retention, and satisfaction.•    Develops, deploys, and monitors client service standards and workload benchmarks including communication vehicles, plans, and services that ensure proper timely and accurate proactive monitoring of client and customer program performance.•    Develops, delivers, and deploys client issue resolution construct and escalation process including intake, tracking, status, resolution, and communication. Ensures strong partnership and collaboration with Risk Management Operations, ETG and other internal departments responsible for operational program delivery.Compliance and Regulatory (10%)•    Ensure staff meet standards by monitoring agent licenses and designation updates on an annual basis, •    Partner with Bond leadership to implement an updated Agency Management System, ensuring utilization alignment with internal and external departments.•    Exercises working knowledge of Federal requirements, State Department of Insurance requirements, carrier master policy, and endorsement requirements and other related client product and program responsibilities.Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree required, or equivalent education. 8 – 10 years of related work experience required. 5 – 7 years of leadership experience is required.Property & casualty license is required.Insurance designation is preferred.The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this job.
