Security Officer Armed Patrol

Pay Rate: $16.52 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, including armed response when post duties require it.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials when required, and document daily activities, observations, and/or incident details in accordance with site expectations and Allied Universal standards.
• Support cash-handling and other sensitive operational areas through visible presence, attentive observation, and timely communication with management and/or law enforcement when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
