Job Description
As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Rounds in Phoenix, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support a professional environment through clear communication, rapid response to concerns, and customer-focused service. This post requires an armed guard card/license. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the interior, exterior, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify irregular conditions.
- Monitor access points and observe for suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or unusual conditions, documenting findings and communicating concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, notifications to appropriate parties, and coordination with law enforcement and/or emergency services when required.
- Complete timely reports and logs, including patrol activity, incident details, and/or customer service interactions, in accordance with site requirements and Allied Universal guidelines.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A Guard Card/License is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
