As a Security Officer Vehicle Patrol Clearance Required in Colorado Springs, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading aero and defense location as an unarmed patrol officer in a driving post, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and/or emergency response actions appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns through established channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and help to support compliance with location protocols common to aerospace and defense environments.
• Communicate with Allied Universal leadership, employees, visitors, and/or first responders regarding incidents, policy questions, and changing conditions at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• A valid driver’s license Class B with passenger endorsement is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
