You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to calls for service with calm professionalism. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or the public at a government location by following Allied Universal and site-specific procedures and completing security-related tasks.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or maintenance concerns.
  • Control access at entrances and restricted areas by verifying identification, monitoring visitor flow, and/or screening for prohibited items when required by site policy.
  • Respond to alarms, disturbances, and critical incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site leadership and local emergency services as needed.
  • Document incidents, patrol activity, and security-related observations in daily logs and written reports, and preserve information for follow-up investigations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3+ years' combined law enforcement, military, and/or security experience is required OR a college degree is required.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A valid firearms permit is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
