What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence and coordination with site leadership and/or public emergency services.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, parking lots, entry points, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials, and document visitor, vehicle, and/or delivery activity in accordance with site protocols and post orders.
- Prepare clear reports on incidents, patrol activity, and/or observed concerns, and communicate relevant updates to supervisors, coworkers, and/or client representatives.
Minimum Requirements:
- An armed guard card and/or license is required.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
