Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aero and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including making preliminary observations and documenting security-related concerns.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and report discrepancies involving sensitive materials, equipment, or controlled areas.
• Support Allied Universal protocols by communicating with site contacts and/or local responders when needed, while maintaining detailed incident and activity reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
