Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this armed post, you will support a caring environment through agile response, reliable presence, teamwork, and integrity while helping staff, patients, and visitors throughout the location.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical emergencies, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while coordinating with site contacts and first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials when required, and document security-related incidents, observations, and/or unusual activity according to post orders.
• Support a professional presence in a healthcare environment by assisting with de-escalation, following applicable use-of-force guidelines, and maintaining readiness for changing conditions across the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• An armed guard card and/or license is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
