Job Description


As a Security Officer - Armed Driver Patrol in Summit Point, WV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will support security-related operations at a dynamic motorsports location through vehicle-based patrols, visible presence, and routine checks of key areas. This is an armed and driving post, where you will respond to incidents, document activity, and communicate clearly with staff and guests. Bring professionalism, integrity, and teamwork to help maintain an orderly environment.

 

Pre-Employment Requirements:

  • 21+ Years of Age
  • 1+ Years' Armed Security/Law Enforcement/Military Experience
  • Armed Guard Card/License
  • Valid Driver's License with a least 1 year of driving experience

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including parking areas, access points, and the perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
  • Monitor for unusual activity and potential policy violations, helping to deter prohibited behavior through high-visibility presence and timely reporting.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with on-site personnel and/or public responders as needed.
  • Complete security-related reports and logs, document incidents, and communicate updates to supervision according to Allied Universal and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have 1 or more years of armed security, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
  • Have an Armed Guard Card and/or license.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
