* 5+ years CNC machining/programming experience required
* Good working knowledge of trigonometry, geometry, basic math and measuring instruments
* Advanced knowledge of programming codes
* Advanced understanding of machine practices
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills

* Motivated and shows willingness to learn
* Willingness to teach others the machining skills for them to advance and grow
* Demonstrates a strong mechanical aptitude
* Programming with Esprit (required) 2022 on vertical mills. Nice to Haves:
* Experience with SolidWorks and AutoCAD preferred
* Lathe programming a plus.
Job Description:
* CNC Machinist/Programmer is responsible for producing machined parts by operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine while maintaining quality and safety standards. * Proficient in machine operation loads raw materials and unloads completed parts
* Required to operate multiple machines simultaneously when needed
* Performs inspection of own parts and co-worker's work
* Follows instructions when selecting appropriate tooling and fixtures Uses measurement tools i.e. digital calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments
* Adjusts tooling & work offsets
* Performs preventative maintenance on equipment including top-off lubricants
* Cleaning responsibilities including equipment, chip removal, and work area
* Follows established procedures as well as quality and safety standards
* Maintains safe work environment
* Works under supervision
