We are seeking a Records Manager to implement and manage records on management systems, ensuring accurate and secure data storage for the Army and DoD. This role involves administering the Command's records management program and providing training to staff on record management policies and procedures. The position requires flexibility to support both the National Capital Region (NCR) and New Cumberland (NC). * Exhibit an understanding of records management scanning and document preservation, document management software, and the workflow management system.
* Exhibits working knowledge of administering an electronic document management system in SharePoint.
* Perform a variety of analytical and administrative duties involved in the development, implementation, and administration of the Command's records management program.
* Extensive experience developing briefings and delivering records management briefings to groups to inform Command personnel on record management policies and procedures.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: Requirements: * 5 - 7 years' experience implementing records management policies and systems to ensure that data is accurately stored securely for the Army DoD
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
* Excellent communications skills
* Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and various database software packages
* Exhibit a thorough understanding of the DOD (Amy Records Management Compliant Program) records management program, records management instructions, regulations, policies, directives, and procedures
* Thorough understanding of classifying and indexing records using Microsoft SharePoint Records Management
* 3 years' experience training staff who need access or have a responsibility for maintaining records.
Required Certification: * Certified Record Analyst
Education: * Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Business Management, Library Science, Records Management, or related field
