*Licensed Clinical Social Worker LCSW Licensed Professional Counselor LCPC Job Description*



To do well in this role, you will need to have a strong background in counseling/social work and mental health. You should have a master’s degree and a current license. Additionally, it’s essential that you have the interpersonal skills necessary to engender the patients' trust that allows you to address and resolve their most intimate mental health concerns.

Licensed Clinical social Workers/Licensed Professional Counselor Responsibilities:
* Meet with patients to determine the exact nature of their mental health concerns
* Provide targeting counseling designed to help the individual overcome their problems
* Remain knowledgeable of the latest methodologies in counseling to provide patients with the best possible care
* Refer patients to other mental healthcare providers as necessary

* Licensed Clinical Social Worker/Licensed Professional Counselor Requirements:


* Master’s degree in clinical social work counseling or a related field
* All state-mandated licenses required for practice

* Ability to deliver treatment that is customized to meet the unique needs of every patient
* Willingness to refer patients to other healthcare providers as needed
