JAVASCRIPT DEVELOPER WITH SECURITY CLEARANCE

Amentum is currently seeking a JavaScript Developer to support an IT Managed Services program in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The overall program includes a 500+ work force performing Enterprise IT support, Service Desk, and Telecommunications support across multiple facilities and locations, for classified and unclassified telecommunications and information technology (IT) systems. As a member of the team, you will: * Develop high-performance web applications using Javscript(React, Vue.js, Node) * Work closely with customers and end-users to define and document application requirements; * Test, debug, and refactor frontend and backend web application code; * Translate detailed design into application systems; * Test, debug, and refine applications to produce the required product; * Prepare required documentation, including both program-level and user-level documentation; enhance applications to improve performance and add functionality; * Provide interactive issue troubleshooting, following user issue tickets through to resolution, documenting resolutions in a knowledge base, and working with application and system owners to identify advanced solutions. Minimum Qualifications: * Must have a Bachelors degree and 2 years of experience OR an Associates degree and 5 years of experience OR a High School degree/ GED and 8 years of experience OR equivalent. * Related experience can be substituted for relevant education and vice versa. * Must be able to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET (TS) or DOE Q Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a TOP SECRET (TS) or DOE Q Clearance. * Experience with software engineering standard methodologies * Experience with Linux, Mac or MS-Windows operating systems * Experience with some or all of the following: Javascript (pre-ES6 and ES6/7), React, Next.js, Node, HTML/CSS, Git, MySQL, SQL, MongoDB * Familiar with testing frameworks(Jest, Playwright) * Experience with automation, orchestration, continuous integration, and continuous delivery including tools such as Docker, GitLab CI, Openshift * Testing, debugging, and refactoring frontend and backend web application code * Virtualization and cloud technologies * Migrating from conventional deployments to continuous integration/continuous deployment * Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to identify creative solutions * Ability to operate in a dynamic environment and motivated to continuously improve processes and skills * Exceptional interpersonal, communication and prioritization skills Preferred Qualifications: * Ability to apply critical thinking skills and apply detailed data into useful information, such as documentation and developing policies, processes and procedures * Ability to work independently and within a team Amentum is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
