  • This job is a member of the Enterprise Integration Services Team within the Information Technology Division.
  • Responsible for assessing needs of development teams and provide enterprise solutions to enable them to achieve their DevOps excellence goal. This role will actively collaborate with internal and external teams including Security Engineers, Architects, Developers, QA professionals, and Operation teams as well as leaders across the enterprise.

What you'll do

  • Develop Automation to provision platforms.
  • Develop self-service capabilities for application teams to deploy components onto our integration platforms.
  • Provide Technical Leadership for API Management and Distributed Caching as a Service.
  • Interviews and collects feedback from users to identify solution gaps
  • Automates delivery pipeline lifecycle (creation, execution and deletion) to provide a standardized simple and quick way of CI/CD
  • Leads the effort to implement DevOps toolchain in the cloud to leverage elasticity and flexibility of cloud compute and storage
  • Integrates auto provision of application environment to achieve an end-to-end CI/CD experience
  • Integrates upstream and downstream development/QA Testing/Security Analysis tools in to the enterprise toolchain
  • Continually seeks improvement opportunities of the Enterprise DevOps toolchain product.
  • Leads and mentors engineering team members

All you'll need for success

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training
  • 8 years of experience with configuration, automation, integration of CI/CD tools including source code control system, CI engine, binary repo, quality and security scanning tools, testing, metric and reporting
  • 4 years experience automating platform provisioning and client service capabilities.
  • 5 years experience implementing API Management Solutions for a large enterprise.
  • 2 years experience working with Kubernettes in Azure and or AWS.

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

  • Large scale application deployment experience, as well as extensive build and release engineering and proven ability to design and develop automated deployment solutions
  • Deep undestanding of service-oriented architecture (REST APIs, micro-services, etc.) and extensive experience with implementing API integration
  • Experience with implementing and integrating DevOps toolset in Cloud environment
  • Extensive knowledge with automation using scripting langauges like shell and python
  • Deep understanding of CI/CD workflow and branching strategy
  • Strong experience with Containers technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience with creating infrastructure as code (Docker, Kubernetes, HELM, Terraform)
  • Capable of writing comprehensive technical documentation and diagrams
  • Working knowledge of common networking protocols (e.g., HTTP, TCP, IP, SSH, FTP, SMTP, DNS, LDAP), load balancer, firewall, storage
  • Sufficient working knowledge with Linux and Windows OS
  • Have an Ops mindset and understand production change processes
  • Ability to work/collaborate with peers to drive for result
  • Ability to communicate and evangelize the benefit of CI/CD practice to application developers and management
