Responsibilities:

• Ensuring cleanliness, tidiness, and safety of work environment.
• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
• Accepting delivery of inventory.
• Counting and confirming inventory.
• Inspecting inventory for damage and faults.
• Communicating errors to relevant parties.
• Making sure all inventory is labeled and organized.
• Storing inventory in accessible manner.
• Daily pickup and drop off of mail.
• Use company truck to deliver and pick up materials for all departments.
• Work on organizational tasks as required by Materials Manager.

Requirements:

• Work experience as general laborer, preferably in warehouse.
• Ability to operate forklift proficiently.
• Completion of background investigation and drug screening.
• Strong people skills.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
• Good moral character.
• Physically strong, agile, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive work history and ability to maintain solid attendance.
• Available to work extended hours if needed.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, talk or hear, use hands to finger, grasp, handle, feel or operate objects, tools or controls. The employee is occasionally required to balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach with hands and arms, walk; pick up, lift, push or pull objects up to 45 pounds. Hand-eye coordination is necessary to operate computers and various pieces of electronic equipment. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
