Job Purpose

EX4 - Assistant Manager Treasury – Capital Markets 

American Honda Finance Corporation (AHFC) is seeking an Assistant Manager of Treasury Capital Markets.

This position oversees the execution of all unsecured debt ($40+ billion portfolio) and swap executions ($70+ billion portfolio) in the Treasury Capital Markets Department, along with supporting the investor relations activities required to support the growth of AHFC related to consumer financing, dealer financing and other activities.  This position will recommend long term strategic goals to the TCM Manager & the Funding Committee (which includes the President, Treasurer/VP, VP-Finance & Administration and Compliance Officer). This position will also speak frequently with internal departments, our relationship banks, external counsel and auditors relating to the terms and conditions for the various debt programs
 

Key Accountabilities

Key Accountabilities will include but are not limited to

•    Determine optimal structure and present to the Funding Committee.  Lead in the issuance for all unsecured debt transactions
•    Ensure we meet SEC, SOX, financial reporting requirements
•    Main business contact for Debt and Derivative System
•    Support the Diversity & Inclusion funding platform
•    Analyze fixed-income market trends, issuance activity, competitor developments
•    Assist with the investor relations presentation materials & present the funding plans
•    Assist & develop direct reports in their professional growth
 

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

Who are we seeking: 

•    BS degree in Accounting or Finance related field 
•    7+ Years in financial industry experience (Auto is a plus)
•    5+ years in capital markets 
•    5+ years experience in international markets
•    2+ years of supervisory experience  
•    Accounting knowledge very helpful

Workstyle: Hybrid (Remote 2 days in the office required)

10% travel 

EX4 Salary Grade Range:  $93,600- $140,300
Pay will be based on several variables that include, but not limited to geographic location, work experience, education, etc.
