Job Purpose
- The role of a Data Analytics Principal Architect is to develop, curate, and execute architectures, policies, practices, procedures, and data to manage the information lifecycle needs of the organization. Conducts market research, functional research and development operations of the organization.
Key Accountabilities
- Work together with leadership to develop and deliver long-term strategic goals for business intelligence and data sciences roadmaps; sense, study, test and implement new technologies and manage overall knowledge in data sciences and business intelligence spaces.
- Establish and lead enterprise analytics governance methods, stewardship and procedures for tracking quality, completeness, redundancy, and improvement. Develop and promote cloud analytics strategy.
- Lead and support high performance team of business intelligence and data sciences to meet organizational data strategy and deliver project with quality and customer service focus. Foster associate development by coaching, training, and mentoring.
- Build NA & global relationships and network to achieve trust and credibility by discovering and meeting the needs of internal and external customers and vendors. Use persuasion and influence to achieve maximum results with Enterprise IT goals.
Workstyle
- Hybrid: At least 3 days per workweek at the local office location in Ohio

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
Education:
- Degree or work-equivalent experience in computer science, information systems, or computer engineering or work equivalence.
Minimum Experience
- 8 or more years of experience in Data Sciences, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Data Engineering and Information Management.
- Certifications in Analytics, Data Science and Business Intelligence tools and technologies
- Know-how/experience in strategy, project execution and operations management.

- Strong understanding of relational data structures, theories, and principles.
- Strong technical knowledge and implementation experience in the areas of analytics, business intelligence platforms, solutions and architectures
- Experience in BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, SAP Cloud Analytics and SAP Business Objects, Moxie based dashboards, Crystal Reports etc.
- Experience in Data Sciences including ML models, algorithms, data wrangling, Data Ops etc.
- Operational experience in Data Sciences tools like Dataiku, Open Data Hub and SageMaker.
- Experience with SQL and database platforms like MS SQL Server, DB2, Oracle and PostgreSQL etc.
- Knowledge of cloud-based technology including cloud connectivity options, data storage options (S3, Glacier), data lakes (S3 etc.), master data management, data
- cataloguing, cloud warehouses (Redshift, etc.), cloud ETL/ELT tools, cloud databases (RDS, DynamoDB etc.), cloud infrastructure (EC2, EKS), and cloud/ onprem BI products (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
