Job Description: Senior Accountant

Goals and Responsibilities Include:

Review General Ledger Entries: Ensure accuracy and completeness of general ledger entries.
Account Reconciliations: Complete account reconciliations, analyze financial data, and identify corrective actions.
Month-End Financial Closing: Assist in the month-end financial closing process to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
Financial Reporting and Variance Analysis: Assist in preparing financial reports and conducting variance analysis.
Internal Controls Adherence: Review and verify monthly accounting processes to ensure adherence to internal controls.
Financial Modeling: Create and maintain financial models to support business decisions.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
Compliance Monitoring: Verify information and monitor procedures to ensure compliance with accounting procedures.
Team Support: Assist other accounting staff with completing their tasks as needed.
Other Duties: Perform other related duties as directed.

Required Technical / Other Skills and Abilities:

Education: Bachelors Degree in Accounting.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience working in an accounting department with similar responsibilities.
Technical Skills: Highly skilled in the use of Excel. Experience with QBO is a plus.
