A week in the life of aModeling & Simulations Technicianincludes: * Serve as a software application manager in accordance with DTOC Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) * Provide annual usage metrics on M&S software applications with recommendations on quantities requirement to meet operational needs * Assist in developing and executing test plans related to STE interoperability with connected training devices and collaborate with TSSC as required * Be knowledgeable in the use of DIS troubleshooting tools (e.g.: Wireshark and DIS PDU Analyzer (DPA) * Providing basic level M&S training to all DTOC personnel on annual basis * Represent DTOC and ANG DMO standards at standard working groups identified by the government Job Requirements * Bachelor's Degree and two (2) to four (4) years of experience. A combination of education and experience can be used in lieu of degree. * Functional knowledge of distributed simulation (DIS) and High-Level Architecture (HLA) * Experience analyzing network traffic and troubleshooting DIS/HLA packets using Wireshark, DPA, or similar software tools * Expert knowledge on use of stimulation software such as NGTS, MACE, VRSG, etc * Active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance.
