The Construction Field Manager supervises the teams out in the field, provides technical support to the crews and helps train our crews. This position will report to the Production Manager.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

· Production Training/Development

  • Provides infield training to minimize negative customer experiences.
  • Inspects job sites and production crews.
  • Routine maintenance compliance on all equipment.
  • Assists with group and individual production meetings on a weekly basis.
  • Along with the Production Manager, formulates and implements strategies with the goals of having each crew meet their key performance indicators.

· Safety, Quality, Efficiency

  • Stays up to date on production best practices for safety, quality, and efficiency.
  • Makes and communicates adjustments to best practices when needed.
  • Ensures all aspects of installations are performed safely, efficiently, and with high quality.

· Remarkable Experience

  • Ensures the production team provides a remarkable experience to customers.
  • Communicates with customers in a timely manner to overcome obstacles/problems on jobs and reach an acceptable solution.
  • As necessary, escalates customer issues to the team to find a timely solution.

Requirements:

· Skill in operating a computer, cell phone, programs, and apps.

· Ability to detect/recognize information in written materials and on screen roughly 50% of the time.

· Ability to understand, communicate, read, and write in English.

· Skills in verbal and written communication and strong presentation skills.

· Skills in and ability to operate equipment and/or power tools preferred.

· Ability to lift or move up to 100 lb.

· Associates or bachelor's degree in construction or business preferred and 2+ years of experience as a foreman/manager in the construction trades OR a combination of education and experience that illustrates a proven track record in this field

· A valid driver's license, a safe driving record, and the ability to drive for the company.
